Is your blog moving? The only thing sadder than a blog without traffic is a blogger who decides, after several months of hard work blogging, that it just isn’t worth it anymore because there’s no instant gratification. So they abandon the blog and chalk it up to a fruitless exercise.

One of the method is advertising at other blogs. This is some of the ways I advertise my blog :

1. Join Entrecard and advertise using the points we get whenever we visit other blogs. I get hundred of visitors daily from Entrecard.

2. Join Project Wonderful and bid your place. This is really good if we are already have networks. Some of them really crazy bidding everyday .. ha ha including me!!!

3. We also can buy place at private ad offer by the blogger. The more the traffic the more you have to pay. Most of the top blogger making money by selling their ad space. JohnChow made $15,140 on the month of June 2008 from his private ad.

4. We also can add our link on ScratchBack offer by other bloggers. Thanks to anisha, emila, BDH, Indocontest, Jean and others who add your link on my ScratchBack.

It is so important to make consistent effort when starting any type of marketing. Ask yourself: “What can I do today, to improve my weblog’s traffic?” Walk before you can run! Success will never come over nite!!

    Bono, dulu I had scratchback, but it went cuckoo on me and the links won't appear even though ppl dah bayar. So I ended up paying them back and I removed the scratchback. Maybe I should have it back on, hmmmm dunno yet! ;)

    Looks like you really doing all your best to get more comments. Changing your blog to dofollow blog. The problem is your blog comments is still nofollow. Maybe, the plugin you install is not working or conflicted with other plugins. Hope you will check this out.

    I love Entrecard, however, there are a few problems with the way people work it (as with mostly everything.) Entrecard definitely works for getting more hits, but the problem is that you're getting people that go to your site, drop their card and immediately click out trying to obtain this ridiculous amount of drops every day to get people to go back to their site. The main reason people use Entrecard is to attract an audience but they aren't going to do that if they don't respect the process it was set up for, comment on some blog posts, subscribe to a blog they may find interesting, etc. They need to stop fishing for the Entrecard widget and simply leaving after they've dropped their cards. Everyone wants a market, everyone has a voice that they want to be heard but by not giving it a little more oomph when you're doing your drops, such as leaving a comment or at least reading something on the site and spending more than 10 seconds on a site, they aren't going to attract the market they were hoping for, finding people who also use the system like them.

    Holly, partly I agree with you. Nothing is perfect in this world. I always leave my comment to my entrecard droppers but only a few reply...but from entrecard also I get many new loyal friends. Thank you to entrecard...don't put too high hope only on entrecard..do multiple marketing...we get some here and some there.

    #22,604...dropped a card on you today...The latest award i got was because all the hard work i was doing keeping Santa`s community blog up and running while santa was gone and helping somebody else post some stuff on some others blogs cause that person lost her passwords for her blogs, but since i was a co-author for those blogs- i was able to do it for her...Take care and have a great weekend..
