Reward readers for blogging well

I am getting good response on my past posting Entrecard Touch and Go traffic and leave no comment. Thank you to all the visitors and great comments from my regular and new commenters : JeanGrey, EmilaYusof, Jodith, Steven Wilson, The Natural State Hawg, Chorva, Pekanbaru, Shaxx, Eastcoastlife, MGP, Jstnhickey, Sjeltur, Purplefrog, Tyson, Greener Pastures, Matthew, Imitation Angel, Lapa37, AGP, Empty Street, Profit Blogging Tips, Dana and co, Designing Hilary, igoddess, Sue, impNERD

I try to treat my visitors the way that I would like to be treated. Repeat visitors are the backbone to your blog’s growth. They will mention to others why they like your site, those people will then visit and so on. Also, interacting with your visitors is important. It try to create discussions within posts and gives others a chance to mention a point or concept that should have been highlighted in the post.

Once you get to the point where you have too many bloggers to link individually on your blog front page, reward your best bloggers with those links (and their search engine value).

I strive to reward my valued visitors in many ways. Yes I reward my visitors. Reward them with prominence. I give away EC credits to my daily 1st dropper and monthly top droppers and I recognize my top commentators on my side bar, free advertising on my site for both groups. I reply the comment and use the comment luv plugin and have taken off my no follow tag. I also will advertise back at other blog who advertise on my blog.

Some of the bloggers rewards their loyal readers with special awards, free advertising, tagging, lovely link, blogroll and special posting.

Thanks for the mention here on your blog.Way to many entrecard droppers never read one line of someones blog they just drop,and run.One can get alot more exposure to there site if they leave a comment on ones blog.

On to your question how do I reward my regular followers.By commenting back on their site.

I'm still new so I'm not sure I have regular followers. The one thing I do is to comment on the sites of those who comment on mine. I plan on doing more in the future but for now this is the best way I can say thank you to those who do visit me.

i also leave comments on blogs who leave comments in mine. i was guilty of drop-and-go syndrome but now im trying to read more, comment more so i can learn more.

Thanks for mentioning me on your post. You are absolutely right about awarding readers. In fact starting this month, I am going to give EC credits to my top 10 EC droppers to say thank you for their visits!

I am aslo thinking of rewarding the person who wrote the first comment to my entry with EC credit as well but that is still under consideration.

Well for starters, I've got a few plug-ins like Top Commentators, DoFollow and CommentLuv which always give some link juice back to the readers.

I'm also giving away some EC to the best comments each week but I'll try to think up some more ways to reward those who support my blog, it's a Win-Win situation I think.

my website is still very new and i still don't have enough EC credits so i still don't have "big" rewards to give. in the mean time i give them much love by linking (for my top droppers) and commenting on their blogs.

Monthly I list my commentators in a post giving them some link love. I also visit their blogs and try to comment on something. I always try to return my EC drops and read as I go. I have a commenter plug-in on the side.

I have things planned to reward visitors, but as of right now I only get about 40 a day, most, though are just entrecard drop and runs. Once I get above 100 a day I'm going to start running some contests and incude a top commentators section. Keep up the good work on your blog

steven, maybe that's the reason why some bloggers place their widget down of their site to make the dropper scan their posting and read when ever they find interesting.

purplefrog, amount doesn't matter. I start with small amount. Most of our friends doesn't care with the amount but they love when we reward them...take care.

Thank you so much for the 50 EC credits. That was a very nice surprise and as I can see from this post a great idea on your part to promote goodwill towards your visitors.

I try to visit the bloggers sites who leave comments on my posts and my blog is do follow as well (I run the do follow blogroll). I used to be a very good commenter - to the tune of perhaps leaving 50 to 100 comments a day, but now that I have several blogs I find I just can't keep up with the comments and create new content on my sites.

I almost touched and went... But your title caught my attention and I read two of your posts. Very good reading. I have developed and now subscribe to many of the blogs that I drop on. But it usually doesn't happen the first time I visit. I like to see a trend of things that I enjoy reading...otherwise I just drop and go. That's part of the process as well.

Our country so big. Do you know we have to take 4-5 hours to fly from Jakarta to Sulawesi. And almost impossible to use normal road cause it will really take our time. Time is everything to do the drop..heee. I fly every 2 weeks.
