My PageRank like Chips More

Page Rank has now become the single most important factor in having your site found in the organic search results of the leading search engines. Page Rank is determined by the quantity and quality of websites that are linking to yours. Each website link acts as a kind of vote for the site it links to, and passes some of its own page rank to this site. The higher the page rank, and the more relevant the content of the site, the more significant the affect will be.

The higher your page rank, the higher your Web site is listed in the various search engines, and that means more traffic to your site. This, in essence, means more people are looking at your site, your products, your services, thus putting more money in your pocket in the form of paying customers.


Unfortunately my Page Rank come and go like chips more..heee. What is your Page Rank and do you really care your Page Rank??

    bono, i dunno what happen to my PR. other ppls hv been telling me that AGP is PR2 but when i check, it is 0. :(

    and my technorati authority widget seems not to be working. I've tried requested for pings frm techno but still no response. It has been at 86 for a long time oredi. Any clue how i can fix this?

    Hi Bono,

    hmm pageranks is pretty vital when you are trying to stay on top of the search list. But one has to also consider the reader base that you already have established and that in itself is pretty good enough to compensate for a lack of page rank ;)

    While Page Rank holds importance, I disagree with it holding that much. Backlinks are where it's at. Content is helpful, but backlinks are the most important. However, you do earn page rank with backlinks.
